All-day artists and vendors:

Latifat Apatira practices a technique called “botanical nature printing” to create her Titilayola Prints, stunningly detailed ink and watercolor prints that celebrate the beauty and wonder of plants.

Latifat inks the plants themselves and presses them onto paper, then adds delicate color. These extraordinary prints will be on sale at Flora Grubb Gardens throughout the holiday season!

Come meet Latifat at the Open House on Saturday 11/25 for her pop-up and all-day interactive demonstration. From 10am-5pm we’ll be creating a communal piece of artwork at her table; you can learn how she makes these nature prints and try it yourself to contribute to the botanical landscape on paper.

Latifat will be selling a special piece of artwork, a beautiful olive tree, as a fundraiser; 100% of the proceeds from this work will go to humanitarian relief in Gaza.

Also on Saturday 11/25, Michelle Derviss will be joining us with her gorgeous wall-mounted vases (above and below). We love the shapes, forms, and colors of these exquisite “pods”—try them with succulents, air plants, or cuttings from your garden.

Linda Fahey will be joining us all weekend long with her beautiful handmade ceramic pieces (above and below). You can see more of Linda’s work at Yonder Shop.

Julie Wagne will be here in the garden on Friday 11/24 selling her handmade Little Spark candles. These make beautiful gifts!

Letterpress artist Annie Amundsen from Navy Midnight Press will be joining us on Sunday 11/26 with a selection of her lovely printed cards (above).

Also on Sunday 11/25, fiber artist Rachel Robertson will be selling her exquisite handmade jewelry (above).

Don Milhaupt, longtime member of the Flora Grubb fam, will be here at the open house all weekend long with his bright and intricate prints (above).

Our Bayview neighbor Julia Street from J Street Chocolate will be here Friday 11/24 and Sunday 11/26 selling her swoon-worthy artisan chocolate bars, with flavors like Sourdough Crunch, Caramelized Koji Milk, and Miso Chocolate.

Enjoy homemade cannoli from E Major Cannoli by Elena DiMuzio, filled fresh to order in the garden Saturday 11/25 and Sunday 11/26.

We’re so excited that LJ Bryant will be here on Saturday 11/25 at 3pm with live piano and vocals on our baby grand piano in the garden. LJ was here for our SFLGBT Center Day, and we loved his performance so much that we invited him back for the Open House. Come enjoy the music, sip your coffee, shop for plants, and celebrate the cozy season with us.

Bloomstock Coffee serves tasty warm beverages every Saturday and Sunday at Flora Grubb SF, and they’ll be here pouring 10am-2pm during the Open House, too.

Stay tuned for more details about our pop-up vendors, performances, and delicious treats for our Open House. See you soon!
