Many people tell us that they think our store is the most beautiful garden store they’ve ever visited. We hope so. It is difficult to capture the experience of being at Flora Grubb Gardens with a picture, but we’ve done our best here to give you a little taste.

The store changes every day, and dramatically week to week. It is never the same twice.

Jim Kumiega, our display genius, created the endlessly photogenic Edsel garden. You must come see it. When we were building the nursery on a former auto services lot, we kept the Edsel to make our largest and most “historic” container garden.

ABOVE: Popping out of the hood is a silver spear, Astelia chathamica, and clambering through the front seat is a mat of silver shield, Plectranthus argenteus. Their silvery colors go well with the rust and paint of the car. It’s covered in dozens of different plants and harbors many lovely surprises to see.
