Beautiful Things for Your Garden
Beyond the pleasure of choosing each plant and the practice of gardening itself, most of us toil in the garden to create something beautiful.

A Woolly Pocket garden by Flora Grubb Gardens' Jim Kumiega and Lisa Benjamin of
Evo Catalyst, with the Low Luxembourg Chair by Fermob and Oil Jar by Bauer
We do love design here at Flora Grubb Gardens. The right furniture, pottery, and ornaments confer an artful, human touch. We like to think that our eye for design is one of the reasons you love coming here, so we try to keep you inspired with new colors, forms, and ideas whenever you visit.
Bauer Oil Jar
Since the 1880s Bauer Pottery of Los Angeles has been making brightly colored pots that Californians adore. Now imbued with the appeal of a classic, the Bauer Oil Jar is one of our favorite garden ornaments, at home anywhere.

While it often first occurs to folks to use earthy colors in the garden, we've happily converted many customers to bright, saturated colors for their gardenscapes.
Luxembourg Lounges by Fermob
First created for the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, the Luxembourg Lounge and Duo Lounge bring a lovely modern silhouette to the garden and assure that your lazy moments will be remarkably comfortable. They are made from lightweight, lacquered aluminum so you can easily drag them around to catch a little sun or shade.

The Luxembourg Duo welcomes you and a friend.

The Luxembourg Lounge
Salt Collection
I just love these brand-new garden chairs. They're a little bit retro, and very romantic. The lightweight aluminum frames with synthetic caning can stay outside in all seasons.

Loads of New Pottery in Stock
The most basic ornamentation in the garden is pottery. Pottery can transform the garden. Containers make the statement that says "modern" or "traditional." The colors of pottery persist year round (unlike seasonal blooms and foliage color), allowing for an interplay of glazes with ephemeral natural elements.
These Vietnamese glazes are our favorites, offering a richness and brilliance that can only be achieved through generations of practice.

An Easy Way to Gussy Up a Fence...
You don't need deep pockets to add colorful ornamentation to your garden. Our love affair with these Wall Play sculptures continues. They're not too pricey, and you can add a splash of color in seconds just by screwing them into your garden fence.

...Another Easy Way to Gussy Up a Fence
These metal bird sculptures are made from recycled materials in Haiti. Create a whole flock on a garden fence or in your living room.
Crystal Sculpture
This modular wire sculpture can be put together in any configuration. It's beautiful on its own, or as a support for a vine in the garden.

Congratulations to Maven: Three Stars!
Daniel Nolan, one of our in-house designers, had a blast designing this vertical garden for Maven, a fantastic bar in the Lower Haight. The garden is thriving, and so is Maven. They were recently awarded three stars by the
SF Chronicle!
Check them out, enjoy the vertical garden, and stay for the exceptional food and drinks! If you'd like help designing a vertical garden for your home or business, drop by the store or contact our design department, design@floragrubb.com or 415-694-6454.
