Raphidophora tetrasperma: Our Own Homegrown Mini Monstera Crop

Raphidophora tetrasperma (aka "mini monstera") is the “it” girl of houseplants, perfect for that focal point in your nice bright room. Eventually, with loving care, these babies will climb and grow to look like the sculptural beauty pictured below.

Raphidophora tetrasperma needs plenty of bright indirect light, and its soil likes to stay moist but not damp. As it grows, you can add a stake or trellis to train the vine into a gorgeous shape.

(By the way, this plant's not really a Monstera at all; it’s native to a completely different part of the world from all true Monstera plants! Use the botanical name, Raphidophora tetrasperma, to show you're in the know.)

We grow this plant ourselves down at Grubb & Nadler Nurseries in the Rainbow Valley, and we bring up a nice juicy shipment whenever the crop is looking amazing! Come see us and check out our wide selection of plants for indoor gardening. Plants that enjoy bright indirect light (like Raphidophora tetrasperma) can be found in our beautiful new Sun Room space.
